Hello everyone, nice to meet you! Thank you for joining me on this journey of pearls and colors. I’m Weimin, the founder of Studio MuHe, and here’s my story.

I have always dreamed of becoming a jewelry designer. This journey began with my Bachelor’s degree at Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, where I first stepped into the world of design and jewelry. I then pursued a Master’s degree at Design Academy Eindhoven, where my focus shifted to conceptual thinking and exploring broader contexts, which gave me a more comprehensive understanding of design.

With these two academic experiences in design and the art industry, I’ve found my passion and path. Pearls, in particular, hold a special place in my heart. They are unlike any other gemstone—organic, delicate, and deeply beautiful. Initially, I too had the misconception that pearls were old-fashioned and limited to simple white designs. But as I delved deeper into the world of pearls, I discovered the authenticity and endless variety of colors that freshwater pearls offer. This discovery has fueled my passion for creating jewelry that embraces the natural beauty of pearls in their most authentic form.
