Warranty & Care Policy

At Studio MuHe, each piece is made with carefully selected natural freshwater pearls and assembled by hand. Due to the organic nature of pearls, every pearl is unique in color, shape, luster, and surface texture, and is designed to age naturally over time.

We offer a 3-month quality guarantee covering structural issues related to craftsmanship, such as loose settings, detached components, or broken clasps caused by assembly faults.

If your piece experiences one of the above issues within this period, we will assess the piece and provide repair support accordingly.

Please note that silver is a soft precious metal and may naturally deform with pressure, impact, or improper handling. Damage caused by bending, force, dropping, pulling, or improper wearing habits is not covered under warranty.

Gold-plated silver jewelry will naturally show signs of wear over time. Fading of gold plating caused by friction, moisture, sweat, chemicals, perfume, cosmetics, or daily use is considered normal wear and is not regarded as a defect.

Pearls are organic gemstones and require careful handling and storage. Changes in color, luster, or surface appearance caused by sunlight exposure, chemicals, humidity, cosmetics, perfume, or improper storage are considered part of the natural aging process of pearls and are not covered under warranty.

Loose pearls caused by impact or long-term wear can often be repaired. For minor cases, we may provide repair guidance or adhesive for simple at-home repair when appropriate.

Pearl necklaces are traditionally strung with thread, which may naturally weaken over time. We recommend restringing pearl necklaces every 3–5 years to maintain their durability and longevity. Restringing services are available based on the current cost of materials (including silver components if needed) and a service fee.

Freshwater pearls typically have an appreciation lifespan of approximately 3–10 years, depending on wearing habits, storage conditions, environmental exposure, and overall care.

After the initial guarantee period, Studio MuHe continues to offer lifetime repair support whenever possible. Repairs outside the guarantee period may involve service fees, material costs, and shipping costs depending on the condition of the piece and the availability of replacement materials or original designs.

For hygiene reasons, earrings and pearl studs are not eligible for return or exchange.

Discounted, archive sale, custom-made, personalized, or specially adjusted pieces are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

For all returns, exchanges, or repair requests, customers must contact us first before sending any item back. Returned items will be inspected upon arrival before any refund, exchange, or repair arrangement is confirmed.

Return shipping costs, repair shipping costs, customs charges (if applicable), and transit responsibility for returned items remain with the customer, especially for pieces returned after extended use. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method when sending items back to us.

Natural pearls may appear slightly different under different lighting conditions and screen settings. Small natural growth textures, irregularities, and variations are part of the character and individuality of genuine freshwater pearls.

By placing an order with Studio MuHe, customers acknowledge and accept the natural characteristics of pearls as well as the care requirements associated with delicate jewelry materials.
