What are silver fragment pearls? They are a unique type of nucleus-free pearl, available in two main types. The first type is artificially cultivated using special techniques to produce nucleus-free pearls with irregular shapes. The advantage is the ability to mass-produce them, but the downside is a high defect rate and limited color variety.

The second type is more premium and purely natural, formed randomly and uncontrollably during the cultivation of other pearls. These pearls boast rich colors and superior luster but have extremely low yields.
